Lady Norse fall in sectional championship game

The Northfield Lady Norse scored the first five points of the championship game of the Northfield Class 1A Sectional 54, but it was the Lady Warriors of North Miami who emerged champion, using an early 14-3 scoring run to take control of the game and finish with a 59-44 win Saturday, Feb. 5.

Northfield started the game hot on their home floor as Ainsley Dale started things off with a 3-pointer, followed by Hannah Holmes scoring on a rebound and put-back two minutes later for a 5-0 lead.
