Hundreds of children around Wabash County will have a merrier Christmas than they might otherwise have had, thanks in part to Wabash County Christmas Spirit.

Volunteers with the program helped to deliver boxes of toys to needy families around the area on Saturday morning, Dec. 9.

“We ended up having between 800 and 900 kids register,” Christmas Spirit chair Jennifer Meyer told The Paper of Wabash County. “Shop With a Cop took about 175 of those, and the rest have been either pick ups or deliveries.”
